“Paul is Magic. Seriously.

Working with him has been one of the most transformative experiences for my body and overall well-being. While he's officially a movement and mobility coach, what he offers goes far beyond that title. Paul combines bodywork, strength training, and truly radical—yet incredibly effective—approaches to pain and old injuries. His methods often feel like a secret that should be common knowledge, unlocking areas that have been stuck for years.

What sets Paul apart is his presence. He brings a calm, grounded energy to every session, creating a safe and supportive environment where it’s easy to tune in and trust the process. He guides rather than commands, working collaboratively and never from a place of ego or force. It’s not about pushing through pain—it’s about learning how to move with intelligence and awareness.

After each session, my body feels deeply worked yet relaxed, open yet grounded, energized and clear. It’s a rare feeling that’s hard to describe but easy to recognize once you've experienced it. I’ve learned so much from his teachings and feel like I’m only getting started. I truly can’t imagine ever stopping my work with Paul—he's become an essential part of my life and health.”

“My body is a collection of old injuries which have caused a constant buzz of pain for years. I was kind of used to it. So when I found Paul on Instagram, I was excited about building core strength to bolster my relatively new MTB racing obsession. I had zero expectations surrounding any rehabbing, but believed building my core foundation could help prevent further injuries. After three sessions with Paul my range of motion in my right shoulder, which was locked up for a year due to a torn labrum (bike crash), is just about 100% with 99% pain reduction.

It was a pain that would send my mood into a frustrated state of irritation every time I reached out with my right arm. My quality of life is elevated beyond anything I though possible after months of PT and basically anything other than surgery. I’m still bit speechless after a couple of months as I’ve sort of expected the pain to return, but I am giddy-happy each time I carefully make a movement that has caused so much pain in the past, only to find that there is no resistance, no sharp pain and no reason to guard my shoulder.

I feel like the system he’s developed reaches a level of rehab and which lets the body function in a way that simple PT skips. Muscle building and working throughout the pain has never resulted in anything but the need to maintain an elevated level of fitness and strength in order to protect my injuries. Pauls method reached in, through a little bit of body work and a lot of simple movement, to the core of the injury and released the bound up protective mass, or at least this is what it feels like to me. In my off-season, at a much lower level of fitness, I am still pain free.

I could write endlessly about how happy I am about my experience, and how professional and warm Paul is in his work, but I’ll leave it as this: My expectations were exceeded by an unfathomable amount and I am endlessly grateful to have found Paul randomly on Instagram, where I was simply inspired to build my core and learn to do a handstand. Releasing the pain of old injuries is literally life-changing.”

“I've been an athlete my entire life, bodybuilding, martial arts, football, baseball, you name it, I've played it. But flexibility and mobility? Those were never my strong suits. I couldn't squat properly or touch my toes.

In my 50s, my body really started to break down. Severe back, neck and elbow pain, coupled with bouts of vertigo, sidelined me for years. As I approached 60, I was determined to reclaim my active lifestyle. The journey back was daunting, and I knew I needed guidance.

Enter Paul at Solhaven Movement. From our first session, I knew he was different. His patience, deep knowledge, and genuine passion set him apart. Paul's holistic approach to movement and healing is unlike anything I've encountered, despite a lifetime immersed in athletics. His sessions are not just workouts; they're transformative experiences that address both body and mind.

Even when I faced setbacks, like breaking my shoulder in an accident, Paul adapted our training, ensuring continuous progress without compromising recovery. Thanks to him, I've not only regained my physical capabilities but have also achieved a level of flexibility and mobility I never had, and I never thought possible.

These days, I'm running five miles three times a week, cycling 20 miles five times a week, swimming nearly every day, and regularly working out with Paul. I share this not to boast, but to highlight that none of this would have been possible without Paul's relentless help and support. While it might be overreaching to say Paul saved my life, he certainly gave me back my life.

Paul brings intelligence to fitness training that I've never encountered, despite being a lifelong athlete. His coaching has truly been a gift, and I can't recommend him highly enough to anyone seeking a profound transformation.”
